We received information that according to preliminary data published by StatCounter, on four consecutive days in early October 2011, Chrome’s market share in South America ranged from 37.36% to 39.91%, beating Internet Explorer (IE). It’s predicted that Chrome will overtake IE worldwide in the near future.
The problem with Microsoft is that it continually changes focus when it delivers a new version of Internet Explorer. IE9 has a much different focus than IE8, IE7, and IE6. Google, on the other hand, has released different versions of Chrome, but the focus has always been on improving the entire line of Chrome.
